Thinkershub Journals
Open access publishing delivers free content online for readers to increase readership and citations. Although, open access publishing had been around for more than a decade, the intended benefits of this publication model such as world-wide participation and increased transparency in academic publishing haven’t been achieved.
Thinkershub journals would incorporate better reward and recognition practices for authors to promote wider participation and collaborative research.
Thinkershub Conferences
Innovation happens when diverse individuals come together at one place to exchange ideas and research findings. Thinkershub Conferences facilitate this meetup covering a wide range of topics – from renewable energy to cancer – and aim to identify knowledge gaps in specific research areas. Thinkershub Conferences will serve as a platform for young researchers from around the world not only to showcase their work but also for professional development through our workshops and discussion forums.
Thinkershub News
Social media platforms have democratized dissemination of information. However, many misuse this new-found freedom to spread ‘fake news’ misleading the public on vital issues like climate change and vaccination. Therefore, it is becoming increasingly important for scientists to take to social platforms and inform the public about their research and its implications. Moreover, citizen engagement in research and development activities is necessary to make innovations more relevant to our needs. Hence, the Thinkershub news portal. The news portal will be our third pillar – a one-stop-shop for the common man to get informed about scientific developments changing and shaping the world of tomorrow.
Thinkershub Sustainability
“Sustainable development is the pathway to the future we want for all. It offers a framework to generate economic growth, achieve social justice, exercise environmental stewardship and strengthen governance.” - Ban Ki-moon, former Secretary-General of the United Nations
The United Nations 2030 agenda for sustainable development comprises of 17 sustainable development goals or SDGs. It encourages maintaining sustainability at various levels- economic, social and environmental and with respect to various themes such as people, planet, prosperity, peace and partnership.
Thinkershub is a social enterprise and a strong supporter of UN’s SDGs. We believe in giving back more than what we have consumed. Therefore, sustainable practices will be implemented in all our activities. Our publishing activities as well as events are designed, organized and implemented in a way that minimizes negative environmental and social impacts and leave a positive legacy for the community.
